Percussion instrument from Peru, from the first half of the 19th Century from Afro Peruvian folklore. Created by black slaves in Peru, during the Spanish colonization, originating from the central coast and northern Peru. Utilized in dances of the coast, including the zamacueca, tondero, festejo, landó. I construct them in cedar, pine, pressed wood, etc. Personalized designs upon request.
I use laminated wood with painted or pyrography designs, you can choose the design you want (more complicated designs will change the cost).
